yada yada...

So we went to the coast this week.  It was a spontaneous trip, but well worth the chaos it took to get caught up on things enough that we could sneak away for a few days...  and now I'm glad it's the weekend.  You know how sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation?  Well, yah.  I'm just glad it's Friday today.

So I hear the weather is still insanely awful on the east side of the country, and I am so sorry for what you guys are all going through this winter.  The hubby and I used to live in snow country, and we left.  I actually miss the snow sometimes, but a little taste of it now and then is enough to satisfy my likings...  Living with the cold, much less the collection of snow can be miserable after a time.  I really truly hope you all are safe and well and watching out for each other right now.  Stay warm, be safe... don't do anything I wouldn't do.  :)

On that note though, the kids down the street built an awesome snow woman last week, when we had about a foot of snow here.  It only lasted a few days before it melted, but the kids around here sure do know how to get out and enjoy this stuff.  I loved it.  We played in it too and the dogs loved it... it was fun to have a snow day week last week, and just watch all the kids play.  It reminds me of my youth, and all the fun we had, no matter what the weather.  Hang in there kids!  And try and make fun of it, if you can!  :)  xoxo

I am right there with you, girl. A little bit of snow here and there is magical and fun. Too much winter, though, gives me the blues after a while and I find myself itching for some sunshine. I hope you have a gorgeous, restful weekend!

I feel like I haven't seen a snowman in a really long time, which is weird since I think it has snowed over 70 inches this season. Brrrrr, I am so sick of it! I want spring SO badly.. a vacation would be nice, too. ;)
