Pinterest and freezer meals...

{freezer cooking via MamaAndBabyLove}
Hey everyone!  Well I'm keeping busy over here, but I'm still trying my best to enjoy this month of rest I'm trying grant myself...

This means a few things for me... and one of them is time management...  You may or may not have heard me blather over the last handful of years about how small my kitchen is, and the fact that I do not have a dishwasher... pair that with the fact that my business is of course, in making soap, which means a lot of working in the kitchen, making messes, cleaning them up again, trying to cook decent meals a few times a week, keep things clean, wash the dishes by hand, clean up more messes, so I can make new messes... it's a viscous cycle.  The truth is that we've had *plans* to get a dishwasher installed at some point, however the project is not that simple... our kitchen cabinets were not designed for a designated space for a dishwasher, which means we have to actually put in a smaller sink and new counter tops, and alter the cabinets in order to create a space for a dishwasher... which is more or less the hold up on the whole project... budgeting for such things, and making it happen are easier said than done these days.

Which brings me to two things!  First, I brought lotions in last fall and then shortly later took them out of the shop... shyly, quietly... not that I didn't work really hard on perfecting my recipe, and not that it's not something I have wanted to add for quite a while... but these days of rest I've been trying to allow myself this month, are allowing my mind to think and breathe, and I feel like my heart is taking me in another direction right now.  So.  If you want to order lotion from me, yes, I can do that... however, I don't think I'll be adding them back into the shop right away, as I had originally planned... it's not that I don't want to make them... it's more about space and time, and following my heart when it comes to running this shop like a business.  And that's not to say that they won't be back someday either, it's just that right now my heart is focused on other things, and I feel like if I follow my heart, the rest will all just work itself out... isn't that how life is supposed to be?

At any rate.  I found a really easy freezer to crock pot loaded with veggies blog post via Pinterest recently, and have decided I just have to share!  For me this is about eating healthy, and planning ahead so I don't have to stop what I'm doing to cook dinner... Freezer to crock pot meals sound like a great way to solve some of my space and time management issues, and if it works for me, I bet this idea can work for you too... so here we go...

Check out this easy freezer to crock pot recipes post, which I found via friends on Pinterest... and, if you're on Pinterest... Let's be friends!  I am still sorta new around there, but getting the hang of things, and I like it so far, I really like it!  :)

Okaaayyy... that's all I've got for today!  Soon I will show you what I've been up to over here, but first I have a few packages to get out of the way, and then I need to get some picture taking time in...

Hope you've all enjoyed the 3 day weekend, and have a wonderful week.
What have you been up to lately?
