Last winter, my mom's dog Blue passed away, some of you may remember me posting about it... and after the spring came, my mom decided she wanted to get a lap dog. A little dog... maybe a chihuahua if she could find one. But of course she didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new dog, she just wanted a new dog.
Along came Willie. Willie is about 3 years old, and his previous owner was a nice little lady who sadly passed away. Willie needed a new home, but not just any home... one where he'd get treated with the same kind of love and care his original owner gave him. Searching through Craigslist, my mom found this little guy not far from here, so we took the drive, and it was an instant bond.
As soon as Willie and my mom meet, they were instant pals, and the rest is history. Kevin snapped these shots that night, when we brought him back to town... Isn't he just CUTE?!

Willie is adorable! It's wonderful that your mom found him! I always feel so sorry for the animals left behind when their owner passes away so my heart is so happy hearing this story and knowing that Willie has a furever home with your mom!
I agree that it's almost impossible to post pictures without any words. And I'm so glad you included those words, because it makes the story even sweeter. He is incredibly cute, and I'm glad that he found a good home with your mom.

He is very cute and lucky to get a loving home. We only adopt from rescue groups....so many great pets for so much less that really need good homes and saving.
Oh you changed the look of your blog again.I did like the other one...it popped, but this one is soothing. I guess it just depends on what you are looking for. Both are beautiful and you couldn't go wrong with either.

I really liked the orange one, but I decided it might be a little bit too bright for some people, and I wanted it to be easy on the eyes... so you'll keep coming back and reading! Hehee...
I'm thinking about making a few more changes to my blog here soon, but it'll happen as I have time, and decide what to do with it. I want to branch out from simply talking about myself and my etsy shop, just haven't decided exactly which direction to go yet.
