He's an indoor outdoor cat and he's about 3 1/2 so he's still spunky and such. He likes to wander around in the field across the street from our house, but aside from the occasional possum, there isn't any wild animal that I can think of that would be a threat to him, and there's no sign anywhere that he's been hit by a car.
We also live on a private lane, and there are a few other kitties that are all friends around here, so I don't think he's been picked up by animal control either. In fact, I can't think of one time since I've lived here, that I've even seen an animal control truck around, so I'm choosing to believe right now that he's just off taking a vacation in the bushes someplace.
*sigh*
Hopefully he comes home soon, I can't even imagine what it must feel like to have a missing child. A missing cat is bad enough.
:(
Marley, I would like for you to come home now, please. ♥

I hope Marley comes home soon too. Sending purrayers that he returns home safe and sound very soon!
Surely he's just out exploring and he'll be back. I'm sorry that you're having to worry about him though. What a good lookin' cat, and he's got a cool name too. Does he wear a collar?
Nope, no collar. He does have a chip in his ear, if all else fails. I put one on him a few years ago and he just scratched it till it basically fell to shreds, so he hasn't worn one since.
He's so good about staying close to home. Usually I can look outside and see him catching bugs in the field. Silly boy. I sure hope he comes home soon, I'm sick of wondering, and worrying. *sigh*
Ooooo mama i sure hope he comes home soon! I know that feeling and it's no fun at all :(
OH that is the worst feeling in the world! Is he usually an out door cat? I know when we use to have out door cats, they use to vanish for days at a time, then return home.
When I got older, I decided indoor cats only! Not going through that again. Give him a few days...he may be on the hunt for some girly cats.
They do that from time to time ya know.
Take a deep breath, he will come home. Cats are great about finding their way.
Gosh Cheryl, I hope so. He's fixed so I don't know if he's got a girlfriend, but there's no sign of him anywhere (still) and he's usually a pretty smart cat, so this is making me crazy. Kevin has already checked the Humane society and he's not there... None of our neighbors have seen him either (they all know him - we have great neighbors) We haven't seen him since Tuesday and today is Friday and he's still not back.
I'm tired, and anxious and sad and my stomach is a mess.
